PREMIER LEAGUE 

 The Premier League is a really important soccer league in England. There are 20 teams that play against each other. They play 38 games, where each team plays against every other team twice. The games usually happen on weekends, but sometimes they can happen on weekdays too.

The league started in 1992 when some teams decided to break away from another league. Even though it is the highest level of soccer in England, teams can still move up or down depending on how well they do. The league makes a lot of money from selling TV rights, and the teams share that money.

A lot of people watch the Premier League, and it is shown on TV in many countries. The league is really good, and English teams have won lots of big soccer competitions in Europe. Seven teams have won the Premier League, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, and Liverpool

MATCH FORMAT

The Premier League is a soccer league with 20 clubs. They play from August to May, and each team plays against all the others twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 38 games. Teams get three points for a win, one point for a tie, and zero points for a loss. The teams are ranked by how many points they have, and then by goal difference and goals scored. If two teams have the same amount of points, they look at the head-to-head record between those teams to see who is higher up. If they are still tied, they might have a special game to decide who wins.

The Gunners are going to play against another team from London. It might be hard for the Gunners to win, but if they have Odegaard on the bench, they have a better chance of winning. Odegaard is a really good player who used to play for a team called Real Madrid. He is really good at making goals and helping his team win. A famous soccer player named Paul Merson even said that Odegaard is "world class"! This season, Odegaard has been playing really well for the Gunners and helping them try to win the Premier League title.

Gabriel Jesus might be playing in their game today against Fulham, but we won't know for sure until about an hour before the game starts. People are excited to see who will be playing in the game and who will be on the bench in case they need to come in and help. Gabriel Jesus hasn't played in a game for Arsenal in four months because he hurt his knee while playing for Brazil. He had to have surgery to fix it. The last time he played for Arsenal was in a game against another team called Wolves, and Arsenal won 2-0. He hasn't been able to play in the last 15 games. But, he has recovered from his injury and was able to join in a full practice session with the team earlier this week. This is really good news for Arsenal because it means he might be able to play in an important game they have coming up called the Europa League round of 16 first-leg clash against Sporting CP.
